What is ZoneTrak?
ZoneTrak is a location-aware tracking system designed for assisting tactical surveillance in situations when emergency management organizations like the german Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW) and other Urban Search And Rescue units are needed. It’s main goal is tracking of events during operations.
How does it work?
Nowadays, most of the people own a mobile phone and carry it all the time. Modern mobile phones offer GPS, so it is logical to use it in emergency situations to lower the complexity of managing tactical units.
